A leading financial services firm with over £2 billion in assets under management, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team in the City Centre.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making across our investment portfolios. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, portfolio performance, and risk metrics
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies, sectors, and market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and investment committees
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop investment strategies and asset allocation recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against benchmarks and investment objectives
  • Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts of market changes on investment portfolios
  • Support due diligence processes for potential investments and acquisitions
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts on the team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, equity research, or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and forecasting techniques
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
  • CFA designation or progress toward completion is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in asset management, investment management, or wealth management
  • Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investment principles and analysis
  • Proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, or similar financial data platforms
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for financial analysis
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies
